Trip to the Queen of Hills

It was wonderful to be at Ooty on a Christmas day. Christmas goes well with the chilly climate and we enjoyed the trip to the Queen of Hills.

According to me, it is CHANGE, which makes the travel the best. I usually decide for a travel when I need a change from the recurring daily life. The craving to belong to a place which I never belonged to before, to meet people whom I never met before, to see the beauty of nature which I have never enjoyed before...

A sudden trip which was planned in less than a day and Ani, as usual came up with the PLAN list, which helped us to cover the places with ease.

From Bangalore, there was two ways to reach Ooty. The Masinagudi road & the Gudalur road.

Masinagudi route is a steep hairpin curve road, which we decided not to take that route for sure. We went through the Gudalur route, which is almost double the distance of the Masinagudi route, but gifted us with beautiful sideways and a tension free journey.

Two nights and three days, we enjoyed each and every moment of Christmas in Ooty.

The Most Wonderful Birthday Gift

Ani planned the visit to OM Books and after a long hour of searching the place, she got me this Bible. Felt so happy inside. 

Never thought before in life about Bible being a gift for an occasion. But now, the Word of GOD seems to be an inevitable part of our life and that is our hope and happiness...

Always A Day To Remember

November 27th, is always a day for me to remember with joy and thanks giving. The day I got a perfect partner and wonderful parents to my life.

A new life started with lot of changes and convictions. Going strong with the blessing of my Jesus and the support of our family...

The day ended with a wonderful buffet dinner at Ruh Restaurant, Bangalore.

The Winner Deserves It

When I heard that the place we were heading for lunch, is the Times Food & Nightlife 2013 award winner, I was excited. And that too for the Best Kerala Hotel Category.

That's what we wanted. We were looking out for the best authentic Kerala food in the city and Ani came up with The Paul.

The moment we stepped into the hotel, I knew that it deserves the award. It was a real oasis in the midst of the city. 

Vembanad restaurant offers the real authentic Kerala treat. What is more delicious than the boiled red rice and the Kerala spices? 

With the mind and stomach full of satisfaction, a wonderful lunch with the dear ones...
