Home Made Choco Memory

Ani loves trying out recipes. And this time she created some sweet cubes.

I love the diary milk chocolate a lot. Mainly because of two reasons.

The first being the intense milky taste it spreads in the mouth. I just sit for hours enjoying that very taste.

The Second reason - Nostalgia. This is one chocolate that has gone through the ages along with Dairy Milk. I remember enjoying it during my kindergarten days. Getting a piece of it was a big deal on those days for me.

Ani knew this part of my life and when I opened the glittering covering of the sweet cubes, it had the exact taste of my memory.

I sat for sometime enjoying its taste bite by bite.

: : Photo Walk : : Railway & Bridge

It is long time since I have gone for a morning photo walk. Thought of taking a drive and click on my dear Duro. Just went around the Bayappanahalli railway area, the KR Puram bridge side and the ITI Cricle.

Bangalore's real estate is eating up the entire vegetation. There is so much that I miss here, compared to where I have grown up. Back in Kerala, I grew up in between the richness of trees and plants. Sun had a tough time to penetrate the green umbrella, which always blessed us with a wonderful climate through out the year and with enough fruits and vegetables, inside our premises.

Climbing up the trees of 3-4 stories height, were the favorite game at those times. When comes to the sports, There wasn't much budget for the kids gang to buy cricket bat and everything for a game. All were from the nature. Instant solutions. I am not joking. The cricket bat came from the coconut tree leaf, stumps came from the plants that grew on the boundary line of the house, the newly sprouted coconut served as the cricket ball. Good old days.

The whole greenery around reminded me of my home in Kerala and a fear of losing the best of the nature, which treated our childhood with the wonderful memories.

Hope the greenery in Bangalore exist atleast for a decade, that the coming generation might have a chance to see the trees and shades.

Over bridge construction -  To connect the road way to the metro station entrance.

Construction work in progress near to the metro station

Current way to the metro station from the parking lot.

Old meets new -  Metro Station to the left of the old station office

The old station ticket counter. What I loved is the small bridge that leads to the counter.

The watch tower which is no more functional. Stand isolated from the rest of the areas that underwent renovation

Close watch

The KR Puram bridge which resembles Kolkata's Howra Bridge

Fish eye shot of the greenery at the ITI courters.

The green pathway.

one of the many greeneries that still exist in Bangalore. Hope this remains for ever...

The Chinese Touch While It Rains

Bangalore is enjoying the unexpected showers these days. It was the same last Saturday. Right after the church, we wanted to have a nice dinner. At first planned Nandhini Palace, but then decided to go for the Chinese flavor, as it was raining heavily then.

This restaurant on the first floor, near to the center where we live, is noticed because of it's reddish lighting.he The color can boost the appetite. And that is what they do with their ambiance.

And the best part, enjoying the authentic Chinese flavors along with the kiss of the monsoon rain, dancing on the restaurant window pane. What a wonderful feeling it was!!!!!!!!!

We've got help; now it's our turn

When I was looking out for an initiative to join in my new company, I came to know about ENGINES team. There were a lot of initiatives around, but this group was my choice.

Why I chose ENGINES?
The group had initiatives I always wanted to be a part of. Again the question WHY came into my mind. Until yesterday, that remained as an unanswered question.

When I got the invitation for the Samridhi School Celebration, I opted for it. I was never been a part of that initiative, but wanted to join the team on a joyful moment.

The celebration was for a meaningful cause. In fact, when I relate it to my life, the celebration was the most meaningful event I have attended in the past few years.

We all have got help at some point of time in our life. Have we done the same thing to anyone around. This celebration was a perfect example of giving back what few people got in their life and it made a huge difference for those who were in need for a support.

Thai Memories Reloaded

I was cleaning up my hard disk, taking out the unwanted files and making some space for the next creations. Then the Thai trip photo folder came up. Spent some time going through the days once again.

It was a wonderful one, with lot of experience and learnings as a traveler. Thought of sharing some pics from the collection.

Started of with a wonderful meal on-board Thai Airways. Must say that, their service was excellent.
Thai is full of color. Be it their makeup, houses, malls, mobiles to vehicles...

Tweeting and making use of the GPRS offer

Can never forget this beach side BBQ dinner we had on a night walk. Delicious it was...

Night is always young in Thailand. See the illuminated street behind. I believe, it was 1 in the morning.

Seafood is the king of Thai streets. I have no idea what an all I tried on the street walks. My stomach withstood all those trials

This is at the Nong Nooch garden. The place was so colorful with highly creative object. Enjoyed the time spent there.

I mentioned about the significance of color in Thai. This is one example :)

Thai really gave us the feeling that we are on the top of the world.

Moment of rest in between a heavy walk

Shot at Gem Gallery Thailand. I asked for a click and they were posing with smiles

Colorful Tuk-Tuk outside Wat Po temple

Golden color almost everywhere gave rich look to the whole place

This fountain has significance related to Buddha

This place was full of bonsais...Lovely view

Our partners in crime, whom we met on the trip, posing with the golden Buddha statues. We were together during the whole trip.

Tired of clicking the food part.

This iconic building stands tall near to the Indira Market and was out land mark for moving around.

Was in diet for almost all the time during the trip :)

Safari World - Fantastic place to spend a couple of days.

The number of people visiting the place on a day were on thousands. We were literally running to catch up the subsequent shows in the park. Didn't want to miss even a single one.

Enjoying each and everything in the place.

Initially I thought there are only black rocks all around the place, until I realized they were the crocos.

Huge billboards on Kings birthday celebrations. So royal it looked.

I just went out for a walk at around 12 in the morning and came back with the above collection and enjoyed it with a movie. Slept by 2 in the morning and woke up by 6. Never ever did in my life before :)

Exploring the Thai Metro route for a quick ride.

Strangers at the Thai Metro station on the way to Chit Lom

Unlike the Bangalore Metro, they had credit card sized cards as the ticket.

Malls were decorated to the best. And Ani spotted here favorite chocolate on the way

Streets and people were getting into the Christmas mood, So was I :) Spirit of the season

Did not care the people around, did what ever crazy things we wanted to do.

Where is the Santa. Who cares, lets click one pic before he comes.

Colorful memories of gigantic size

Magic of the ocean. Did not expect that magnificent view inside.

Waiting for the turn to get excited....

With the ticket of excitement for an ocean exploration

Got the card. Now swipe & explore
