Exhibition Memories

Thrissur Pooram is a famous festival in Kerala. Those who are new to this name can refer to this LINK

I still have the colorful memories about the Pooram. In my childhood days, going to the town was like visiting another country. And so pooram days were much anticipated moments then.

The specialty for me, was not the pooram part, but the exhibition, which comes up as a part of this festive season.

It was fun to walk around the exhibition, enjoying the different shops and the crowd around.

Now that hunger has gone away. Not a kid anymore but I felt bits and pieces of it in this visit.

But saw a lot of kids with that heart which I have gone through. I was looking at their faces and I could find my childhood days reflecting on them.

Food, ice creams, juice, chocolates...it is always a grand festive season for the kids in town.

That is the entrance and it changes every year :)

So much of people on the way. Everyone was looking around and moving to the next counter.

They told it was Hyderabad pearls. Whatever, it was looking beautiful.

Saving trees in a beautiful way.

Magic with the vegetables. He's taking rest after a veg carving marathon.

He was the silent superstar. His products made enough water in my mouth.

He was busy packing his products. He looked so serious when I clicked his work.

In that 35 degree temperature with more than enough humidity, chilled mango juice tasted like divine honey drops...

I did not really understand what these hangings were, but loved the bulb in between the unknowns...

The Ferris wheel behind the woods...

The coconut water. The all time summer hero.

The Lush Green Silent and Crowded Beauty

In the afternoon, I was thinking about the place to explore today. When checked out with daddy and mummy they were ready for it. Shortlisted a couple of places. Cubbon Park was the first choice.

Have visited the Lal Bagh several times, but never been to Cubbon Park. The part which lies close to the Vidhan Soudha, the Karnataka High court and Seshadri Iyer Memorial Library. The place which sprawls a couple of kilometers in diameter and planted with variety of trees. Greenery in the midst of the crowded concrete city.

But when we reached that place, I felt like the whole Bengaluru people shifted to the park. It was so crowded that we had a tough time to make Isaac play peacefully in the park. There was a toy train we wanted to get in. When I saw the crowd, felt like, majestic railway station would be a better option than trying to get a ticket for the toy train.

Spent some time around. Enjoyed the shade of the tall trees and the happiness of the people around. It was so lively and there was happiness in the face of all the people around. People were into several games. Some were playing shuttle, some cricket, some throw balls. What to say, you can sit and watch multiple games all around you.

This is the best part Isaac enjoyed. He never seen these many doves in this world before and so he was on cloud 9 when he met the dove group.

Doves were peacefully enjoying the food thrown to them. From the ground and from the top of the trees, they too were watching the people around...

When someone makes a noise, they flew to all directions. There was a beauty in that escapade too...

Indian Aerospace History

A short visit to the HAL Aerospace Museum. Must say that I enjoyed the journey back to the history to the core. Have passed several times through this road, but never knew the museum existed. A search on TripAdvisor brought this up and decided to go for a visit.

The best part I enjoyed, the evolution of flight technology and the presence of several dignitaries who were behind the scenes of this great company.

I always love that feeling which surge inside while visiting a place, which makes that place special. Same happened this time too. Felt like I am a part of this great Indian Aerospace History.

Remarkable achievements from my country, which I never knew before. Outstanding personalities and engineering success, the real foundation for this strong democratic nation.
