Cafe Evening ☕️ 🥮

Usually Friday nights are spent at home, winding down for a great weekend. But this time, we wanted to get out and explore a cafe. I was craving for a double shot cappuccino. So we headed to Glens at Kammanahalli.

Traffic was terrible which I hate the most but, somehow managed to reach the cafe in 45 minutes 😰.

A good coffee can make wonders and so it did.

We decided to try out some good delicacies. It was good. Nice ambiance and great service.

Loved the time spent together. Walked around Kammanahalli for while and headed back home.

One thing stays the same in Bengaluru - Traffic. Took a while to reach back home 🚗.

Have a great weekend! ⚡️

How To Spend A Day At MillPort Scotland? The Island of a thousand bicycles

We've been to places around Scotland, but never a specific visit to a village. So this weekend, we thought of visiting an Island village - Millport.

There are several reasons why I picked this place. It's proximity to our place, so the short travel and it was a one day trip. Second reason being, we didn't want to miss out the near by gems searching for the farther locations. And it turned out to be the best decision for the weekend. And we enjoyed it very much.

We had to take the car in a ferry to reach the island. The experience was wonderful as it was our first of this kind of travel.

The island was very small and so our intention was to discover the place on cycle.

We did around 10KM of cycling in Millport.

These are the places that we visited.
  • Cathedral of Isles
  • Garrison House
  • Crocodile Rock
  • Millport Beach
  • Millport Cycling
Never felt satisfied after a travel like this one. I was laughing inside out from the sheer happiness visiting this place.

The Loch & Glencoe Scottish Highlands

Another day to remember. 2.5 hour drive to Glencoe. We really enjoyed the ride and spent some time around. Ikey wasn't well. So the plan was cut short and we returned back home.

What a beautiful place and the fresh wind all around...

Magnificent creation of God. Beautiful.

An Italian Cuisine Weekend

Blessings always happen in life. Because that is the promise of God. So another weekend in Scotland.

Whenever we look for a restaurant, the search ends with an Indian cuisine. Because that is the taste we both love anyway. However, this weekend we decided to try out the Italian specialties. The search ended up at +Frankie and Benny's

To be frank, we loved it. The time spent together as a family, talking about the things we love and taking care of Ikey - sometimes, simple things are the most precious ones in life.

Another Friday night, well spent!

Glasgow to Stirling: Stirling Castle

Castle is a castle. Well maintained and resides in the midst of the lush green mountain, it stands with pride.

Walked around the place for sometime, enjoying the distant exciting views of the clouds and sky. The cool breeze was still there even though the sun shined over me. That was a refreshing mix.

Forget about the castle, the place was fresh enough to rejuvenate the body and mind. There was a bag piper music coming from somewhere. The wind carried it to everywhere around Stirling.

Castle is used in many music videos and occasionally they approves live music concerts here.

I might have spent close to an hour at this place. The sky was so beautiful and blue.

This is the souvenir I bought from the castle shop. A tiny bottle of Glencoe whisky. I am not a drinker and don't want to drink too. But this is because of my craze towards designer bottles.

Another day well spent.
